The objective of Plant Biology course is to understand functional relations between plant structure and physiology, and environmental influences on the rate of physiological processes. Plant Biology provides a short description of plant anatomy and variation patterns in physical characteristics of environment, and explains how plant water relations, mineral nutrition, photosynthesis and respiration depend on plant structure and ambient environment at cellular, organ and organismic levels of organization.
